Could BKST be the next SKYM?

The stock is trading at 0.5 times sales versus 5 times sales for SKYM, has just broken out of a 4 year range on high volume, has small float with relativelly high short position, and a great internet site, better than SKYM

NEW YORK, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Specialty retailer Brookstone is currently a bargain, especially with its recent online business that has yet to be tapped, BusinessWeek reported in its
Dec. 28 issue.

The stock is worth more than twice its book value and could be an attractive takeover target, a money manager quoted in the article said.

Along with its low price-earings ration, the retailer also has its small but growing Internet
business in its favoer, analysts said. Its stock closed Thursday at 12-5/8, up 1-1/8 on the day.

Buy TRAC, hold SHRP. I am holding SHRP. I am not worrying about any gap today. I think when the full weekly holiday internet sales (up to Jan 1) are announced, they will be fantastic for SHRP (and much higher than even last weeks sales). I am very positive on SHRP. For today, I am buying TRAC since it is one of the few internet stocks on the upside today:

Track Data up on Internet news
NEW YORK, Dec 30 (Reuters) - Adding to the list of online brokers, Track Data Corp. (Nasdaq:TRAC - news) was the top performer on the Nasdaq Wednesday, soaring 115 percent, after the company announced plans to provide on-line trading services.

Shares of Track Data, a provider of real-time financial market data, jumped 4-11/16 points to 8-1/2.

Among other programs, the company operates an Internet market quotation system, myTrack, offering simulated trading with a $100,000 ''play money'' portfolio and monthly cash prices.

In corporation with broker-dealer Track Securities Corp., the company is planning on providing live trading for its users.

Barry Hertz, chairman and CEO, said, ''We believe on-line trading is a natural evolution for our myTrack market information service. The industry transformation from full service brokerage trading to Internet trading is occurring at a rapid pace.''

In recent weeks, many online brokers have rallied due to an overall Internet euphoria and the low commission most of the Internet financial services companies charge their users.

"The retail trading environment, especially the Internet trading environment, has been very robust of late, said Michael Flanagan, an analyst at Financial Service Analytics, earlier this week.

Online broker E*Trade Group Inc. (Nasdaq:EGRP - news) had surged 12 points to 57 and AmeriTrade Holding Corp (Nasdaq:AMTD - news) had jumped 4 points to 33 on Monday, Dec.28.

Wednesday, both stocks traded slightly off.

Track Data provides real-time financial market data, fundamental research, charting and analytical services to institutional and individual investors through telecommunication lines and the Internet.
