This is just a guess, but I believe that serious momentum money is driving these stocks both up and down. We hear alot about the techno internet day trader, but I do not believe that. In part, they exacerbate the problem, but professionals are controlling the swings and are making a killing. Stocks should not swing 30 points on relatively light volume.

Market action. According to theStreet, a sell program hit the market this afternoon. Bounced back nicely though.
