Mr. Pink's pick of FSFH, which I've been in for quite a while, should do well, especially when their internet connection is more widely publicized. They will actually lease your web site development costs into a low monthly payment:

softwarefinance.com

softwarefinance.com

Nobody else is doing this, it is unique to First Sierra.

As to other financials, I like AHR. They've stabilized their portfolio, with a 13% yield, and seem to have little downside risk anymore. Their options are interesting, as the premiums seem quite high for a stock that's had the volatility wrung out of it. I was writing covered calls with a strike price of 10, but now I've switched to writing naked puts. You can get $1 on Feb 7 1/2s, and $2 on the August 7 1/2s, which seems way too high given the reduced volatility.
