Difference of opinion, I guess. Why is Steve Case spending so much time in Washington then? Broadband will proliferate faster than anyone thinks.

Guru.

In addition, I believe the only way to make real money on the net will be the convergence between tv and internet. Full motion video, quality content, interactive commercials. Control, control, control. Gates, Allen and ATT seem to think so. Case is nervous. He sold half his poosition three months ago. oops.

Guru.

Whoever started the thread,
I am joining this thread as we are entering a new era.
This new era is based on the following positive characteristics:
1) Inclusion of AOl into the exclusive 500 club.
2) Buying of NSCP to bolster its technology base.
3) Only inter blue chip on the NYSE.
4) Future of commerce will be dictated by this technology for which I am a contributor.
5) Need for a company who can match an arrogant company like MSFT.
6) Hoping to see some announcement along wide band access deal.
7) Hoping to see that AOL can at the least match Dell of 90s.

I am long and will remain so for another few years.

All the best.
-Nat

I have a cable modem. I just started using AOL as a portal, along with Yahoo! Lots of good content there. My ISP is @home.
