A Southern Ca shopping report: All I know is that I made the extremely foolish mistake of going to South Coast Plaza in Orange County on the day after Christmas at about 1:15...... That was the time, btw, that I was in the line exiting the damn freeway. I remained in my car, and a line, for the next hour and fifteen minutes just getting into and through the parking lot where I finally made it to valet parking because I couldn't stand it another second. The mall was extremely packed with people of all shapes and sizes...all, of course in my way. (I am on a mission when I shop and don't lollygag around like some of these folks) THe crowds didn't thin until around 4:30 or so..... I saw a lot of shopping bags being carried.... I left empty-handed because a stupid clerk went and sold the great outfit she was holding for me------<sigh> mph
