Hello Kenya: I am a new kid on the block. Picked up a link to SI from the Motley Fool and have been following this thread for about 2-3 weeks. The postings here have all been interesting, even when El is not totally enamored with his "PiQ." Needless to say, I have not since been back to the Fool very often. I have followed, with particular interest, your postings and am interested in what, if any, software you might use to compute the regressions, etc. in your TA model. If so, does this same package provide the FA model as well? Personally, I have historically bought for long-term hold, strictly on fundamentals, and have only sold when they change (at least in theory...sometimes emotion has intervened and I have sold out when I should not have--usually moves that I have regretted.) I have recently decided to do more short- & intermediate- term trading and am interested in learning more about TA as you are applying it. Also, can anyone on the thread tell me how/where I can get NASDAQ pre-open bid prices? Sorry for the length of this request.
