I do believe that 6 months from now this will be looked back on as the proof that a blow-off top occurred. Another clue when a top (or bottom) is approaching is when it is the top story of the major press. When Rivera was running overnight specials on the 'Asian Crisis' with his man on the floor in Tokyo, well, in hindsight, we hit a bottom. Now all we hear is the internet stocks. Skymall jumps and Bloomberg radio reports that it was due to sales increasing seven-fold -- they neglected to mention that sales only hit $1 million. And Active Apparel? Bloomberg matter-of-factly states that it was up 10 1/2 to close at $11 1/2 (as if this is not unusual). But you know, I wouldn't be at all supprised if it goes up another $10 tomorrow, that's just how crazy this market has become.
