If you can find it.....a big if.....keep an eye open for a nice red wine called "Illuminati"

I'm sorry I don't have the year (or the cost) but I shared a bottle over dinner in a great resteraunt with an Italian friend of mine who ordered it. It was one of the best.....

Acutally...if anyone is familiar with it and has more info...please let me know!

Michelle, thanks for the ref to this thread. There are already enough posts that using the search feature with 'only this thread' pushed brings up a number of useful references on many wine types. I plan to make this a regular practice before future trips to the wine store, or Trader Joes now too, since there is so much good info here about southern hemisphere wines.
