Robert, there's your slanted view again <VBG>.

My view is "we have not provided any such samples to any customers" means exactly what it says. The "slant," IMO, is to interpret this statement to mean "we have provided samples from the first, the second, and maybe the third line to customers but we haven't provided samples from the maybe the third and probably the fourth line."

Panic sell or a rational response to the latest information from the company? Time will tell.

And FWIW, I think the SI threads probably can have some influence over thinly-traded OTC-BB stocks, but have little influence over a stock with $100 million+ market cap like VLNC. For instance, if this thread really had an influence, why did the stock tank in the fall of '97? At the time, the line on the thread was production was on track for first quarter '98. We were all going to be rich by now. FMK was repeating Wolunchuck's $100 prediction and no one was arguing with him. At the time, there also was little or no skepticism on this thread. In spite of a high IEI (or according to Zeev's theory, probably because of it) the stock tanked.

And also FWIW, we did not find out from our "inside" connections on this thread about the management team's systematic "retirements," the "goo" problem described in the April conference call, the floorless financing, or the "major redesign" of the line described in the August conference call. Somehow, our insiders knew nothing about these events, but they did consistently report that everything was fine, substantial increases in the battery specs., VLNC would be able to raise all the money they needed by borrowing (rather than selling more shares), 99% probability of contracts within weeks of October analyst visit, 99.99 percent chance of success, etc., etc.

You are symptomatic of being acutely mentally challenged.

News or the lack thereof drives the share price. There hs been plenty of disappointments and unfulfilled expectations concerning the fundamental task of bringing a battery to market to explain the poor price performance of this stock. Judging from your inept view of markets and investments, if you were a dog in a past life, good odds say you chased imaginary cars.

Robert, you statement: "I swear, and I hesitate to say this, but I'm starting to wonder if you two aren't one and the same. Read the way you two respond, almost like you are the same person. Am I getting paranoid or what?" beg the response, yes, you are paranoid, but just because you are, it does not means they are not following you (VBG).

Actually, in most cases Larry and I have stood in the past on opposing opinion sides of stock. In one case he was a strong promulgator of the ZIDDI, an index that required the trader to do exactly the opposite of what my position was on the stock at the time (fortunately, for me, it was one argument I won hands down, I have not seen the ZIDDI for quite some time on these threads).

I came on this thread when Larry was still bullish on this stock (and I get the feeling from his last few posts that he is ready to turn bullish again). You should not worry about fused personalities in this case.

Zeev

PS, you can easily differentiate between us, I am the English "challenged" one.
