FutureTrak International Enters The
Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) Marketplace

POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Dec. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- FutureTrak International, Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: FTRK - news), in keeping with their plan to expand into other arenas, announced
today that they will begin distributing the DIRECTV service into the multiple dwelling unit
(MDU) marketplace. According to top industry analysts, The Carmel Group, the MDU market
represents approximately 33.6 million households in the U.S. and is projected to be a $5 billion
industry by the year 2007.

FutureTrak will offer DIRECTV programming packages and other user-friendly entertainment,
communication and information technologies such as high-speed Internet connectivity to both the
residential and hospitality MDU markets. The MDU residential market consists of apartment
buildings, townhomes, gated communities and condominiums, with the hospitality MDU market
including hotels, motels, nursing homes and hospitals. FutureTrak's market research indicates
MDU landlords and hospitality property owners are continually seeking new and exciting
amenities that differentiate their properties from the sea of competitors to enhance current
customer loyalty and improve new customer acquisition.

''Our preliminary research has shown that the DIRECTV MDU market is still in the early stages
and offers outstanding opportunities for FutureTrak to focus on its growth and expansion efforts,''
said Bob Kelner, Chief Operating Officer of FutureTrak. ''Our plan to provide content, devices,
and data services allows us the opportunity to interface technologies and give the customer the
best functionality for the best price,'' he added.

Management believes that DIRECTV has successfully built MDU market awareness over the
past year. FutureTrak plans to utilize this brand awareness in building a solid turnkey solution to
this very large potential subscriber base.

FutureTrak plans to unveil their MDU marketing plan along with value-added technologies at the
Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas January 7 through 10, 1999 at booth number 6025.
