Steve,
I like AOL considerably more than NSCP. AOL is about to make history of an unprecedented nature. NSCP is not.

steve --- IMO if the deal goes through it is great for both. If the deal falls NSCP will have value fall as they are counting on a premium that is already mostly factored into the price. I see no reason it will not go through,, both companies want it to work! iF YOU HAD THE CASH NOW WHICH WOULD YOU BUY? That is your answer.

i did the same thing about the same time u did...38'ish...yesterday spoke with the pru analyst about just that point and he saids "I haven't heard anything" he also said there is no change to the dilution factor as the price goes up so while it feel's riskier, I don't really know if there is any basis for that feeling.......i was having the same concerns you were......
p.s. a small part of the reason they have run is bercause of this deal so it qwould hurt their stock if either of them walked.
