<Not a single internet-related company (that has recently reported) has failed to surprise SUBSTANTIALLY to the upside... the revenue growth is real!...just consider all of the deals that YHOO has recently signed...(go count them)...these deals are "real"...the revenue from these deals is simply undisputable.>

As for those on this thread that are enamored with surprise earnings and revenue growth, please concentrate. Exactly how many times do you expect a sharp MBA to be surprised by a company that he spends his entire day studying as a career. Once maybe, if he/she is not on his Ps and Qs, twice if he/she is a little slow, any more than that and it is a sucker's game. Do you really believe analysts to be so dim as to be surprised every quarter for 8 quarters in a row? Would you pay somebody who was that bad at their job????

I don't mean to offend anybody (I do tend to do that inadvertantly), but it really irks me to see so many apparently bright people pulled into such a elementary parlor trick.
