sf, i'm careful. i think intel and amd are horrible gauges of end sales b/c they don't sell to end users. their sales lag and by the time you see their sales lagging their strock prices would already be hit. ingram micro is cpq's leading outlet. last i heard, ibm was right behind apple as far as grabbing back share.

muei and gtw sure aren't making up for inacom and im. maybe dell is taking over the world.

there is much conflicting information. i see big inputs and not so big outputs. that means a bulge in the middle somewhere that will eventually have to be dealt with - if i'm right. if i'm wrong then i can live with that.

good luck and be very careful if mike dell isn't out doing his tout-a-thon again. this may be the q that pc sales get really hurt.

IM sales are not chump change -- compare their annual sales to DELLs and CPQ's
