The Seas of change

we have been spoiled
it was not all that many days ago that those of us who stare at a screen all day were happy to be in a position stock that moved a few %
or to scalp off a 1/2, ot a 1/4, or a few 1/8's a day to pay the oil bill (ok, for oil a 1/16 would do)

but lately if a 6 minute hold does not give 5 points we feel like we got the short end of the stick
like yesterday with AAGP going from 1.25 to 15
or SKYM from 5 to 48
or all the others

Daddy, why are all these stocks going up?
cause people are buying them

Daddy, why are people buying them?
cause they are going up

Well, everywhere we read the same question: when will this end?
and people are trying to pick the exact day, minute, second to get out

this bubble will burst soon
Why?
cause people expect it to end, and end badly

the old Law of Expectations
if enough people expect something to happen odds are that it will

why wait?

it is like staying at the party a bit too long; when that extra drink or saying the wrong thing ruins a perfectly good time

I have been all over the nets the last few weeks; time to get out

not going to try to time it to the second
not going to risk there not being a chair for me when this song is over

will I have to pay some extra taxes? sure
might I miss a few last gains? yup

but when the Fat Lady sings, I want to be listening to a different song
