funny, i called in to put my 401k cash back into stocks. What say we split the difference.

Speaking of 401ks i am wondering whether anyone is aware of a company that lets their employees invest a portion of their own personal 401k contributions thru a discount broker? after all it is their (ees) money. Aware of down sides but integration of tracking / recordkeeping should be no problem. Wondering about this because if trend happened would be boon for discount net brokers.

Gersh; RE:" W.T.H. "

grrrrr! I bought 1 TXWME - CBOE Technology Index Jan 425 PUT today @ 11-7/8.

Actually, I bought this obscure index when it was 10-1/4 ASK, the index around ~435 this morning shortly after open. Watched TXX.X drop down to ~427; still no confirmation from E*TRADE - it was a market order - two hours later, still no confirmation...

...got bored, went to the cinema with MadameGonzo and thoroughly enjoyed watching the film, Shakespeare In Love (^_^)
