Don't judge him too harshly - he's a "journalist" and a Clinton defender - so he can't help be anything other than diversionary and less than honest.

Truth ain't the least of what they are interested in. For them it's all about frustrating the truth with extraneous distractions - anything and everything to save their King of corruption, Bill Clinton and his moll.

Just ask his/their intellectual leader - Larry Flynt.

Larry, history may prove you right.. or our governmental system may prove you wrong if it dismisses the impeachment. Either way, your need to belittle those who don't agree with you says alot about your personality and appreciation of the laws of this country. Calling Borzou ".. disingenuous, and lacking intellectual integrity" because you can't see the truth of his argument puts the cart before the horse.

There are obviously two camps of thought. One is absolute, which I feel you fall into. It says a "grand jury" is the ultimate scale of justice, wherein if one lies, doesen't volunteer and confess everything one is guilty of crimes against the Constitution, the rule of law and society.

The other camp, which most of the country falls into, recognizes the Republican right is pushing the law to its limit and beyond as a political weapon to attempt to unseat a popular President. Those in the absolute camp "don't get it" regarding this significant sea change in democratic ideals. The majority senses an abuse of the intent of the law, while attempting to come to grips with the significance and circumstance of the laws which have been broken.

Just out of curiosity, when in the Grand Jury hearing do you believe Clinton lied? My view is that he weebled, he wobbled, he waffled, but did not really cross the line into perjury. With regard to the Paula Jones deposition, he absolutely lied. No article of impeachment on that allegation, however.

With regard to the obstruction of justice charge: Clinton was involved in an illicit affair. Illicit means hidden and covered. That his behavior was prompted by his desire to hide an affair is a mitigating factor to his alleged crime in the eyes of myself and many others.
