No, not to my satisfaction. Something is amiss, me thinks, and I fear it has to do with earnings. The analysts are on to something; just look at how their outlook for aspt has eroded per Zacks:

90 Days Ago: 0.29
60 Days Ago: 0.26
30 Days Ago: 0.25
7 Days Ago: 0.22
Current: 0.22

Aspect had a compounded earnings growth of 50.9% over the last 5 years, but look at the trend with this quarter's estimate added to the series:

9/97: 0.23
12/97: 0.25
3/98: 0.26
6/98: 0.24
9/98: 0.25
12/98: 0.22 (est.)

If the consensus is correct, the market will probably spank them yet again.

Imo, there is a lot of downside potential in aspt. I'm going to resist picking up "cheap shares" that might just get cheaper.

Frank

My negative comments have been noted by the market, so aspt jumped 1 1/8. I am pleased to have been of service to all Aspect longs <g>.

Still long (for too long?)
