I am not asking you to answer for God. I am only asking for your opinion as to why you think things are this way. To me, it doesn't make sense. We are only having a friendly discussion, and not setting celestial policy. If we were doing that, I would definitley have to consult Shirley before proceeding any further:-) Well, since the only show I ever liked Shirley in was Steel Magnolias I have no further opinion on why things are the way they are. :o) The reason that I think these questions are important, is because I think it supports the concept of there actually being no hell, no eternal punishment, no God that favors banishing your soul to an eternal hell over creating the evnvironment for your soul to grow and evolve. You think you support that concept because we are not gods? Because we can't answer a question, you think God is not what He is? Ok Mark, as a believer in evolving, there should be no reason you can not answer the following. 1. Where were you when God laid the foundations of the world? 2. Who measured and decided it's dimensions? 3. How are the foundations fastened? 4. Where are the gates of death and what do they look like? I could go on, but I think you get my drift. I know you always say you would never try to change my belief. That is very nice of you. But I would not say that because IMO I have already tried to get you to change your thinking. Why? Because I believe my eternity and your eternity depends on it. But I am not up to beating you over the head with my bible so don't ask. :o) Ask God to reveal. What do you have to lose by not asking?
