Science is valuable and plays an important role in our lives, but it operates only on the material plane. Spirituality (of which religion is but a subset) addresses an entirely different and necessary realm--meaning. I am simply concerned that we are developing a precarious imbalance with our overreliance on the left hemisphere of our brains. The movies "Koyanisqatsi" (Life out of Balance) and "Baraka" are powerful visual essays on this emerging global phenomenon. I recently revisited them and they left quite an impression. Again. I know you're a movie lover--have you seem them? If so, what were your impressions?
