Shalom,
I was concentrating so hard on trying to make myself understood, that I forgot to answer your question. I will gladly attempt to do that.

<<Concerning what lengths you would go to to protect the ones you love, even from the ones you love.>>

I would certainly go to painstakingly great lengths.I hope and pray that I am never tested on how great those lengths are.

I admit that I dont understand how this relates to my original question. I am speaking about your soul, after death. Why does God need to protect other souls from your soul? I am talking about the moment you stand in front of God, to recieve judgement, according to Christianity. Why is protection of loved ones necesary at this point and how does it relate to my question?

<<There are consequences and rewards to all of life's decisions! >>
I understand the concept of consequences. Explain the benefit of punishment over rehabilitation. Why does that fit into god's plan better than love does? What greater benefit does it have? surely if god were to choose the destructive path of torture, it must have a benefit, it wouldnt be, "just because".

<<We also stand in judgment of decisions we make against the city, state, and Fed.>>

I dont expect the judgements received from the courts and the gov't to be the same as those applied by God, do you?

<< attribituting torture and blame to Him,>>
I am not doing that. I personally dont think those things happen, so I am not attributing those things to him. Actually, you are in a sense.
You are asically saying that there is no better way for God to achieve his will than through these methds. I am saying that he is capable of, and there is a better way.

<<Free will Mark is the basis of all existence. >>
I don't deny that, and have said so. I am talking about the period of time after your earthly existence is over and you are standing in judgement. Your free will had already been exercised. All that isleft is for you to find out your judgement according to God's plan under the Christian belief system. why would his power ever be limited to having to use force and torture over love and rehabilitation?

<<1,000 yr. reign of Christ.>>

No, I dont know what that is. If it will shed light on why torture is better than love and rehab., I would be interested in hearing how.
