There was an interesting article in today's WSJ about the "net stock" craze...the gist of the article was that companies are finding that it's easy to do a press release saying they are going on the net but much harder to actually do it in a profitable way...they mentioned Books A Million and K-Tel as a couple of examples...they also noted that the BIG winners in all this internet shopping could turn out to be the US Post Office, FEDX, ect. Hard to imagine why MSN still doesn't yet have a web presence at the least, much less a shopping outlet...I mean every Joe or Jane has a web site these days...
