Germany does seem to favor upward tax harmonization especially for corporations. Ireland in particular has low corporation taxes. But Armstrong seems to get a little carried away with his anti-government rhetoric in that piece. Note that though Germany has higher unemployment than Britain, it is Britain the low tax country that is currently approaching recession. This has much more to do with Bank of England monetary policy and the oil price I think....

On the other hand I too see the US market going higher to maybe at a guess SPX=1375 as the next top. That's just on a technical basis. This could be explained lots of ways fundamentally.
