Well, I don't think they need to wait till Monday to sell and defer tax till next year. They can do it tomorrow.

OK......I get it.....I am a little slow today....like the market....another question....then why don't the index funds just wait until Monday or later?? They really are required to be ready to go on Jan. 1??

What do you mean monday. Is something going to happen. besides being added to the sap 500.
