Everyone loves a deal . Very seldom do I buy at list price but on some
deals list is the way to go. Take in a few good auctions. Lets for
example , in this case , $8 is a sweetheart deal and $16 if the buyers
are lined up. This happened when Derlan sold their Multlin division
to GE several years back for $90M. Mal has a few underperforming
divisions and is not a good comparison. Lucas Varity recently sold
their heavy brake company for 1.5 x sales. The USA Helicopter companies at the moment are a little reluctant to sign large supply
contracts to Canadian suppliers until the Arm Forces tender the new
helicopter contract. Hardball at its best. Their sales could easily
ramp to the 300m level with a large contract and their rapidly expanding maintenance divisions. Check - out Spellcast.com another
related company.
