Anthony,
The 128-bit security is used for the encryption of the information transmitted over the Net. CyberCash is in charge of the financial transaction between the buyer, the seller and the financial organization.
Actually, a strong encryption should make people more confident in purchasing goods over the Internet and it will bring more business to CYCH.
In relations to the recent comments regarding Fedex - "someone must ship all those orders placed over the net" - I say someone must clear the transactions too, and i believe CyberCash is well positioned for that.

I am afraid you missed the point of strength of Cybercash...
The conventional use of credit cards is very expensive for mass
distribution, both as to the seller and the buyer.

Cybercash will issue an electronic currency that will be instantly
available to use in commerce and the cost will be substantially
below the card charges.

An online company cannot issue an item that costs a mear 2 bucks because the card charge eats up the profit.... with cybercash this will be possible and when you are dealing with a potential of millions of items it is a factor. gil
