OT:
If you need a tax write off, by all means dump the oil drillers. If you don't, I see no reason to sell stock at or near the bottom. Oil prices are at 50 year lows (inflation adjusted). While I don't expect the oil sector to move immediately, I always thought that the sound investment philosophy was to buy low and sell high, not sell low.

If you can wait a couple of years for CCUR, I don't see why you can't wait a few years for your drilling stocks to appreciate.
