Ken,

Welcome back! We Macintosh folks are a bit handicapped when it comes to charting sofware. There is a product called Personal Hotline which looks quite good, but since I seem still to be doing OK with the free web sites (up now 62% after about 8 months of trading the BTTT system...but closer to 40% for the year, since I was on a lengthy losing streak before getting into TA), I can't quite justify the cost.

I put in 3 trades today based on Elder's recommendations and so far all three are nicely in the money. LLY and ASM long from the open, and AMD short (changed my mind on that one after reading Elder's section on trend reversals).

Please feel free to comment if your indicators ever contradict what I am reading on the free sites. Mostly I am forced to use defaults, which fortunately, come close to Elder's recommendations (and yours).

What I really need is some kind of screening mechanism so that I can come up tradable signals without having to weed through a hundred charts every week-end. It has been helpful when you and others on the thread post your/their findings.

Here's to an even more profitable 1999.

BTW: what are your thoughts on a market top at this point? I see more room in the DJIA, but not much more in the NAZ.

TC.

Hi Ken......What kind of indicator is "Elder's 5/34"? If it is a relatively simple formula in Window on Wall Street would you please post it? Also, what are the rules for interpreting this indicator? Thanks.

Charles
