Hi Dorine,

Somehow that game has to be different than it was played during the days of Thorp,Wong,Tulcea and Patterson. In those days the game was played to the end and the card counters made famous by Ken Uston and those mentioned made money playing by the "rules".

So the casino changes the "rules" either by increasing the number of decks or perhaps in the one deck game by not dealing down to the end of the deck..

Perhaps same game, different circumstances, like play down to about 2/3 of deck. Find out if you can how the one deck game is played now. The dealer at your hotel would probably know.

In any event, in any competitive game (read marketplace)as that which works become understood and implemented by the competition, the edge becomes lesser.

It has been over 25 years since I have been in Vegas and I would imagine that there is much to see and do. Maybe my wife and I will make the trip. We are thinking of perhaps in 2-4 years of having a winter home in Arizona.

Look forward to traveling and relaxing more. Happy for you guys. We just got back from a cruise to Central America and Mexico with a stop over in Key West. Frankly,I enjoyed Key West the most!

Our best to you and Herb.
