Who will hit 40 first? Me or Winny the Star? There's a week left for it to happen, I won't be said if I get beaten to it. As far as Internet shopping goes...I thought I had the situation under control after we had our two leg-weights (children). It helped a lot to keep my wife out of the stores. Now that the stores are accessible without stepping outside - God help us all. Now that I have started to think about it, I can see the advantages of NOT having a cable modem. In fact, I may replace my 56K modem with a 2400 baud unit.

Hello fellow WCII "threaders",

It is wonderful to be able to hear your cogent thoughts and interesting that during this end of year season, we have taken on a more time-sensitive, global perspective. I am grateful to have "found" such a interesting, smart set of people through this medium. What does that portend for our future?
