I'm with Sultan on this, strong sales aren't exactly the kind of thing that prompt most merchants to revamp their systems. Actually, from my limited experience consulting in retail, and just a guess, I'd bet it is more often companies that have a history of trouble with merchandising that are prime targets for new systems. Many merchants have their own proprietory software as well. Perhaps Y2K could cause a pop in revenue. Just popping in to see where Sultan is hanging out! Bob, your name sounds familiar - ALTS?
