Zeev,

I agree. I was hoping to bump back up to 17 or so to write the 17.5 calls, but was forced to write the Jan 15's today. Once again, I have this thing hedge wrapped and am getting pretty tired of this dog. On top of that, the options MM screwed me. Couldn't get a limit thru, so I went to market. The order sat for 7 minutes while Cymer dropped a bit. Never heard of a market order sitting but Schwab said that is normal on a low traded option. I can't say one way or the other.

I think we may have a runup into earnings; we always seem too. I think the expiry is far enuf away from earning that a runup would not start until then.

My opinion.

Mark

Zeev,

I got out of Cymer in my IRA over the last few weeks because of anticipated tax loss pressure. The shares I own outside of my IRA have a low basis and are for me a long term hold.
Doesn't it seem possible that the current weakness is simply aggressive investors trying to offset some of their gains, rather than a break on the downside of a technical indicator?
I am looking to buy back at the anticipated lows over the next few days.
