Robert, I made a point several days ago about the challenge that the internet is causing to businesses in general, and how many businesses will be rendered obsolete by this changeover. I think that this story illustrates exactly what I'm talking about, and how the application of Buffett's techniques fails to adequately recognize the implications of this revolution. biz.yahoo.com Regardless of whether the Buffettologists on this thread recognize the opportunities afforded by the new technologies, failure to recognize the dangers posed to traditional businesses by e-commerce is downright foolish.
