See, I knew you could do it!

<<1) Egghead has a proven track record of mediocrity.>>
True- but that was then, this is now. They just had the best X-mas sales of computer equip, I understand.

<<2) Egghead is in terrible financial shape.>>
False. However, you could mean anything here, so there's actually lots of wiggle room. As I already mentioned, they have no LTD, nice cash from selling off the bricks, nice current ratio, inventory will obviously go down, etc. What don't you like about the balance sheet?

3) was silly. But a little humor is nice.

4) was legitimate and a genuine concern.

5) Yup, EGGS has benefited by the ridiculous bubble, but it's not time to short it now. And it's certainly not the "lowest quality". Come on, get a grip. It may not be the best, but it's certainly not the lowest. Eggs-ageration doesn't help your case here (drop the melodramatic "inevitably" stuff as well).

<<6)..it is also being driven out of the internet business by these same companies.[i.e. CompUSA and CDW]>>
I believe that that is simply false, but again this is so open ended that you have wiggle room. What's your criterion? Here's one of mine:

Note relative positionings.

Again, I think that there's grounds for shorting this one, but many of the ones you listed are dead ends, IMO.
