SRGE rocketed by (surprise, surprise!) announcing an acquisition
of Orbit. The magiKal incantation that reads "e-commerce" was
used in the press release and my limit order filled way below
the close. #@%$#!$%. I had the damn thing in my portfolio for ages!

You think that's funny? No, that's nothing. The funny part is that
the press release went out precisely during the 15 minutes that it
took me to go downstairs, order a sandwich and consume it. The order filled at about the same time.

Moral of the story: NEVER, I repeat, NEVER let mundane impulses
(food, TV, sex) interfere with your trades. On the other hand, scratch
sex from that list -- it's difficult but possible to watch the screen
while, um, doing THAT at the same time. When will all these spaceinvaders69.com are going to IPO anyway, Alien? My mailbox is
already full of it.

Alex.

P.S. I know you can argue with the credit card bank but can you
blackmail a broker into reversing a filled order? ;-) Where's that
damn time machine...

Hi Scott,
I bought AAGP yesterday and sold into the momentum this morning.
I have a question about another stock. DLIA. This company sells teenagers clothes and will now be selling over the internet. Why is it tanking so much? Is it strictly the loss of momentum? Or is there something I'm not seeing. The 52 week high is something like 32 and today it closed at less than half that. Good buying opportunity? Or...?

Thanks,
Charlotte
