DOSE finally moved. Been waiting on this one a while.

Too bad I dumped it a month ago. It might be on a long run, folks.
Keep 1/2 an eye on it.

1998 End of Year results thus far - For those interested:

As mentioned earlier by me, I am about a 50/50 trader, meaning 50% of my trades make money while the other 50% lose money. The two months I have gotten that up to about 65% but here are the exact percentages:

Winning Trades = 50.8%
Losing Trades = 49.2%
Total Gain/Loss = ~$101,000 (Approx.)

Notice that the gain is substantially positive while the differential between winning/losing trade percentages is 1.6%.

Why?

Discipline of cutting your losers quick and not taking more of a loss. Remember that if a trade reversed direction on you, you have already misjudged it once....why hang on any longer? Still, we all do it. One trade recently, that I misjudged very badly cost me $18,000 overnight (ASTM).

I know of no better way to explain the importance of cutting your losses other than sharing the numbers above with you in hopes you will see the point.

Trade well and keep your greed in check.
