I'm sure that Rolls, had you got it, would today be the pride of your life !

I had a similar situation, nearly, although quite a few years later.

Instead of a Rolls Royce, it was Gretsch Electric Guitar, identical to one of the early ones played by George Harrison. And it was in a pawn shop for only $199.99 - and I was almost $200 short !

Like you, I missed out on that guitar - but NOT on MIT !

If I had that guitar today, I'm sure it would be the pride of my life!
