It's MARKETING, who else mails you their software every couple of months with 100 free hours? Once you are on its hard to change services. Email addresses, AOL provided content, stock info not available anywhere else, etc. Windows in an inferior product to Apple amd IBM OS2 but they are the leader because of marketing.
