I agree about cutting loses. Today I traded 7 times, lost on 5 about $100 each and did very well on 2 of them. I consider that a good day.
Now, if I was disciplined when it came to chasing stocks, then I think my average may improve.

paul...i use island most of the time but if the MM has what i'm looking for i will use the selectnet button and he has to fill me.

I instituted a self imposed rule. I dump no matter what I feel when I take a 1 point loss. It helped out tremendously. I've been very consistently black since I started that. I've cut that constraint tighter with a lack of success. I did 1/2 point for a couple of weeks and got shaken out of the market twice. One of the times was onsl, and I'm sure you remember that day.
