Micheal: I agree wholehartedly!! As I mentioned in an earlier post to Kenya, I am new to this thread, but have been long on CPQ since Pfeiffer took over ('91/'92). (Actually, I traded in and out of a couple of positions before then, originally dating back to the mid-80s.)

While, today's CPQ is a much different Co.than it was 7, or even 2, yrs. ago--FWIW--I have been targeting numbers pretty much as you have stated. Borrowing from an earlier article from today, I believe, CPQ is early in the midst of transformation from being a PC boxmaker to a full service enterprise supplier. Naturally, the industry and analysts are going to be skeptical as they wait and see how this evolves. The key word there is "early." And, they still have accomplished quite a bit in a short period of time. Please remember, other than the "inventory slight-of-hand" of last yr., Pfeiffer has executed extremely well. Does anyone remember what kind of shape the company was in in '90/'91?

Patience WILL reward.
