Listen to his sexist and bigoted tapes, Can I ask you to elaborate breifly on this (if there is a simplistic way to do so)? I never thought of Nixon as any more sexist than anyone else at that time. Im not trying to defend him here if he is what you say, but I believe he had some paranoid tendencies that unfortunately got the best of him and his leadership ability. You could see some precursors to that with his reactions to the press in the early 60s etc. Maybe he was just a guy that shouldnt have been president, nonetheless he was a great foreign policy leader. I never thought of his worst qualities as sexism/racism. Michelle
