I just looked at snap.com, it looks great. It probably takes less than 1 million to develop this new portal, which is almost as good as YHOO. I also saw their TV ads recently. It just shows how insane the valuation of YHOO at 30 BILLION. It also confirms the low entry barrier people has been talking about.

I went there and messed around a bit. Even bookmarked it for future use. But I think it cost more than 50 thou and will certainly cost more than that to keep it up to date. I know getting a website up is pretty easy, but one with such extensive links and up to date info is not a snap.<g> I am not one of those that think the barrier to entry in this field is really that low.
