donkeyman - from the Sanfred web site www.sanfred.com

A recent aeromagnetic survey of the Beniah Lake property has revealed the existence of several, sub-circular magnetic anomalies. Such anomalies are known to be consistent with a kimberlite source and indicate that a potential diamond discovery may be found on this property. Highly encouraged by this preliminary work, Sanfred is embarking on an aggressive Phase 11 exploration program to define potential diamondiferous kimberlite targets.

Evaluation of data compiled from the Company's recent airborne geophysical survey strongly supports previous exploration data indicating potential economic concentrations of gold exist within the Beniah Lake Straight Zone on the Company's Beniah Lake property. The Beniah Lake Straight Zone is the largest of known strike-slip faults in this area and is believed to represent an archean rift system. Two major zones, the Main Shear and west Shear zones host gold occurrences. Their widths are variable, averaging 20 and 100 meters respectively. Such zones are also known to be the controlling factor of kimberlite emplacement. The Main Shear has a strike length of 2,400 meters where exposed, and the West Shear has an exposed strike length of 800 meters. A company reported that previous samples from one (1) meter wide silicified "Horse Tail" shears within these zones returned assays up to 0.60 oz/ton gold.

Previous exploration identified 27 trenched areas over the north trending zones. The gold bearing mineralization from the trenched zone has established the existence of a large gossan zone 50 feet wide. In addition, four distinct gossan zones have been identified (the No Tag Showing), measuring 130 feet long with mineralization of 10% combined pyrite, pyrhotite and chalcopyrite.

Location:
The property is located in the Lac de Geras diamond region of the Northwest Territories of Canada. The Beniah Lake claims cover approximately 36,000 acres south of Camsell Lake and due west of the Mountain Province diamond discovery.

Alberta Leases:

Owned 100% by Sanfred - 400,000 acres in three different locations of Alberta.

There you have it, but judging from the volume on the stock and price action, could be other things driving it, who knows in this junior resource business whats cooking with some of these when they get going on a run!
