Company Press Release

CBQ, Inc. Announces Its New Quotation Symbol and
One for Four Reverse Split

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 8, 1998--CBQ, Inc., (OTC BB:CBQI), formerly Freedom Funding, Inc. (OTC
BB:FMFD), today announced that it has received from NASDAQ its new quotation symbol. Its new CUSIP No. is
12488S104. Its planned reverse one for four (1:4) common share split has been effected. All further references are to
post-split shares.

CyberQuest Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CBQ, Inc., headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and proprietor of
www.bid4it.com, is a full-service Internet development company. CyberQuest develops, implements and maintains creative
E-Commerce WebSites. Using patent-pending proprietary software, CyberQuest has created a virtual Exchange marketplace
based on the principles of securities trading. Unlike web auction sites, bid4it is an electronic marketplace responding to supply
and demand where, in a free market, the asking price floats to a natural price point based on the interaction between Bidders
and Sellers. Bidders bid on desired products and may modify or delete their ''bid'' at any time before it matches the Seller's
''ask'' (asking price). Sellers place confidential, competing ''asks'' for popular products. The Seller may accept any ''bid'' at
any time and may modify or delete their ''ask'' at any time before it matches a ''bid.''

Our patent-pending CyberMarketMakerâ„¢ software continually analyzes bidding activity and moves asking prices up or down
in response to market activity; evaluating all criteria of a bid and ask before creating a match and an order.

Note to Editors: bid4it, CyberMarketMaker are trademarks of CyberQuest, Inc. CyberQuest sub-licenses the bid4it software
and related technologies to interested parties. NOTE: All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
