Zeev, yes, I mean't cellphone batteries for Hanil. As far as how soon production rates can be achieved, remember Valence has been working for many months(years) to bring production rates up before accepting a contract. The increase from 60 to almost 300 employees in the NI plant is a good indication they have been "walking" and are almost getting ready to "run". If they have gotten the bugs out and a single shift can produce 2500 good laptop batteries, why wait to add the second shift if they have a large order? As far as a timetable, if they have already hired the 2nd shift, how long would it take to hire and train a 3rd shift? What Valence is doing different from ULBI is that they are proving their capability before accepting an order, thus avoiding the embarrassment of not being able to deliver. My 33% profit estimate is twice what Hanil should expect. Would Hanil have agreed to put up $50 million for their plant and give up half the profits if they didn't believe they could get at least 16.5% return? IMO that would not be a good business decision. If you read some early ULBI annual reports (I have a investor packet), you should find that analysts estimated 65% to 85% profit on their version of Li Solid Polymer. Anyway, a prior poster asked why you even bother with this stock and spend so much energy discussing it. If it was truly hopeless, I would imagine you wouldn't give this thread the time of day. You know how I feel about it, and that I often give it more than a few minutes every now and then. You must be strongly attracted somehow, or why would you bother with the thousands of other stocks out there? You could never hope to give them as much attention as you do Valence lately. You and Larry must definitely feel it's worth your time to hold/get the price down. So the more attention you give the Valence thread, the more significant you must feel the potential. You have spent far too much energy than required to just protect the interests of readers.
