Walt, Super post!! The Emperor truly has no clothes. ERICY can't possibly go to trial. Can you imagine the cross examination of the supposed expert witnesses? They would get their orthagonal wieners toasted. So what does ERICY do to save face and temporarily maximize share holder value? Use a delaying strategy. Tero calls this getting the most out of an obsolete interface. In a sense that's true. I bet the projected trial date doesn't hold. They are trying to keep the Q twisting in the metaphorical wind of Wall Street. The wind, however, is shifting. What will it take for ERICY to understand the bankrupcy of this myopic strategy?
