Frank, thanks for reminding me that IBM makes the PowerPC chip. At one time I was a fan of the PowerPC myself (Apple days)

And in that case, I agree with you that IBM is fully capable and willing to fill the gap should Intel move out. But surely not MSFT. IBM can also move in if MSFT goes down. The OS/2 I am told is better and more robust than NT
