If Emile ends up babbling mindlessly in Heaven, then you and everyone else worth talking to on this thread will clearly be somewhere else. I must say (I am not making this up) that I have lately received an extraordinarily civil private message from him in which he admits to having conquered his revulsion for me, and now offers his unconditional love. It must have been caused by something I said, since I doubt God spoke to him on my behalf. I know that he has some real intellectual power, surely perverted, largely wasted, but very real. I think we should try to redeem him for reason. NB: This is not a hoax!
