Heyy Wiz,
Response from Alan tech dude:

Hi Barbara.

Thank you for your interest.

To access the broker/dealer (intranet) area of our system you must be a subscribed broker/dealer for both business and technical/security reasons. I cannot grant you access.

Regards, Alan Spar

Radim oh well it never hurts to ask!!!, lololo.
Having the Intranet access through that page sure was/is a surprise.
Never ever thought that was what that was going to be used for, lolo.
What does it tell us?
What we know for sure:
They have put code on that screen.
They are making progress.
What we don't know:
If anyone is using it yet (that is paying us).

My nit-picking thought follows (lololo, life is too short!!;)):
Was this the original design? If so, then it is unlikely that we have had any contracts to speak of unless they aided in beta testing, when BBoy and I went to visit, MM told us that the first contracts would be at "leader" rates ( not sure if that is the term sorry if not) ie: a discounted rate incentive given to initial subscribers.

Sarah am sorry that your bankers gave you grief, the bastards grrr,
when FNTN or another investment eases your situation, CHANGE BANKS!!!
It should be noted that you placed that order with parameters that prevented any damage, thank you.,, AMBTS,, barbara

TW. According to the sites I found at AOL (CNBC, ETC). that is what is frustrating wall street. No ONe can put a value on these internets (intranets). They say that the commerce on them is exploding, and you have to look out in the future for the correct valuation or you get left at the starting gate. Thats why what you say falls in line. It is the future value, not todays that is driving these stocks so high. There is little time lag between when they initiate their sites to getting customers and the "exponential" increase in the customers is a phenomenon that has never before hit wall street. There are no stores to build, no warehouses, its all cyber. They are saying that these internets are a whole new ball game and brokers are going to have to rethink the future to determine their worth.

Hi Wiz, perhaps I'm beating a dead horse here, but I still don't see the "internet connection" to FNTN.

I have been assuming (maybe mistakenly) that clients of FNTN's INTRAnet will be connected via high-speed, DEDICATED, SECURE telephony (fiber-optic, WorldCom, etc mentioned on their website). This appears to completely end-run the INTERnet. And I have been assuming that the public website is more a marketing vehicle, and not a portal to the proprietary services FNTN hopes to sell as their core business. If it IS a portal, the super-fast dedicated, secure, customized connection will have to be in place to fully take advantage of the for-profit services.

Is this erroneous? Do you see the custom services being accessed in any other way?

Needing clarification,
M.

Ya know something Wiz, I really appreciate reading your posts and getting your financial intelligence reports but this last post of yours really pissed me off.

I am busy right now getting ready to trade in and out of stocks that are going to actually move today but when I am through I am going to come back to this post of yours and give you a different perspective on some of the things that have been discussed on this thread and your potential foolish perspectives on the above mentioned.

Wiz:

You touched several important notes in your post.

I am not a techie, but have worked with the public all my life and one thing I have observed: Negative people -the pessimists, skeptics, and cynics have difficulty succeeding at anything in life. I just don't think anyone can succeed while running scared all the time.

I don't believe you throw all caution to the wind but I have to be positive about whatever I'm trying to do. If I didn't trust management I would leave. I am more confident in the success of FNTN now than ever. I will stay with them until its proven that they can't succeed.

JP

Wiz: I just saw your overnight post (https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=7025328). You make more sense at 2:30 AM then anyone else on the planet. How do you do that?
You waxed eloquently about two critical and highly related Intranet points.

"The real reward lies in the coming Intranet mania, which I personally believe is about to unfold with unparalleled force and will be the true "Next Great Growth Wave".

Statisticians agree with you. Most intelligent research shows INTRAnet commerce far out-grossing the INTERnet within 5 years. The first wave of success has been with the INTERnet players. To jump on that bandwagon now would be financially less rewarding and perhaps (as some have suggested) foolhardy. The place to put your money is in tomorrow's success story.

"There will be so much business created by this explosive new paradigm, that a company such as Financial Intranet.. can offer today, the kind of fully integrated Intranet and communications solutions for tomorrow, that companies of the future will demand..If I were a broker dealer, I would be calling on them now, to tell me how I can get my company up to speed and ready for the 21st Century."

Once upon a time the future was an eternity away.
Now, it's measured in nanoseconds.
Companies that don't embrace this new vision and do it soon may never get up to speed. More than ever, the consequence of a status quo business philosophy spells disaster.
As usual, thank you for your wisdom and vision, Wiz.

Regards
Wally
