You know, I was just reading this piece (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/981229/netfloppy__1.html, and I started to laugh when I thought back on all the bickering that went on here regarding the absence of a floppy for iMac.

So, does the fact that iMac has been the best selling personal computer for the past couple months validate Jobs' vision? Is the popularity of the floppy-less iMac a sign that the true nature of Internet computing is finally embedding itself in the consciousness of the public? What does it all mean? If the lack of a floppy is good enough for Steve, by God it's good enough for me.

"Floppies? We don't need no stinking FLOPPIES!"

Excellent idea. It will give Apple some "glamour", something more than just a box maker-another dimension. The kind of news that stock groupies latch on to.
