Hi Eric,

That was a good move. I have a small SUNW position. I will try to add to it during the course of '99..

I'm still very much long and very bullish on NOVL. For reasons discussed in extenso on the thread I still think NOVL is poised for rapid growth in the next few years.

To be honest right now I am not buying technology. I bought more NVLS, AMD and NSCP this summer. It was hard to resist. Now I'm selling covered calls against my positions. Somehow related: I am also very bullish on the internet but with valuations the way they are it is hard to get into those stocks. I was lucky to get into NSCP. I am very bullish on transportation issues like FBX and ABF, those goodies bought on the net need to be delivered to the customers... Look for exponential growth in the transportation industry in the next few years..I'm looking for other internet related opportunities of that type..does anyone have ideas in this direction?

Regards

Victor

An Honest poster

Anyone who wants to see the difference between a hypster and an honest investor only has to click next to Eric's name above and read his honest post.

Incidentally what Eric did, sell NOVL Calls and invest in SUNW is precisely the conclusion that the investors that used to post here (before the hypsters took over) reached and followed through on earlier this year and last year.

I know one person whose average on 5K shares for CPQ is around 19. Accumulating a growth stock by buying during corrections is another winning investment philosophy --- provided you pick the right stock.
